The New Bern Housing Authority (NBHA) is issuing a Request for Qualification (CONSULTANT) from qualified consultants to design an upgrade for our existing video surveillance security system.
Obtaining the RFQ: This RFQ will be submitted to consulting firms previously used by the NBHA and recommended consultants from various sources. The package will be available on March 31, 2023. Consultants will be allowed to obtain a package after this date. For further questions please contact Dee Meadows at 252-633-0800 Ext 220. or email dmeadows@newbernha.org. There will not be a cost for the package.
Submission Deadline: Qualifications must be received via USPS Certified mail, overnight delivery services (UPS, Fed Ex, etc.), or hand delivered to the NBHA Central Office no later than 3:00 pm Eastern Standard time on June 1st, 2023, at the address below. All submissions will be date stamped upon receipt. Sealed proposals, in accordance with conditions defined in the CONSULTANT, must be included in the qualifications package in a separate sealed envelope. No submittals will be accepted after this time. Faxed or emailed submittals will not be accepted. Women and Minority-owned Consultants are strongly encouraged to submit qualifications and a sealed proposal.
Submission Instructions: Submit qualifications marked "Design for Video Surveillance and Security System" to Dee Meadows, c/o New Bern Housing Authority, 1307 Tatum Drive, New Bern, NC 28562. Please include in the submittal package an additional sealed envelope marked price breakdown. This shall include an hourly rate for services. This sealed package will be opened after the consultant has been selected by the evaluation team, according to the outlined evaluation criteria. No proposals shall be opened before the submission deadline. If a consultant has submitted a proposal in error, the original proposal may be picked up and resubmitted before the submission deadline. Submissions will not be publicly opened.
